Teach to Reach Remote Classrooms, Ghana

Teach to Reach Remote Classrooms, Ghana

In collaboration with UNHCR, The Varkey Foundation will run interactive distance lessons from their studios in Accra to support around 300 school-age children at Ampain Primary School in the Western Region of Ghana. Refugee children who are currently out-of-school or at risk of dropping-out will catch up with their basic education, allowing them to continue with their secondary education, and students in school will receive high quality literacy and numeracy lessons from our studio teachers.

The overall goal is to enable children to successfully complete their primary education and continue to secondary education. This will be accomplished with Varkey Foundations model of using solar powered and interactive distance-learning technology benefitting the children, teachers, and the community.
