DR. AIDAN MCCARTHY

Dr Aidan McCarthy: a thought leader in education working internationally to envision and facilitate digital transformation and change initiatives, with over 30 years of experience leading teams to deliver new possibilities in teaching, learning and administration.

Aidan has taught in K12 schools and Universities. He has led digital transformation teams in schools and education systems, and held senior leadership roles in global technology companies, including Microsoft (WW K12 GM) and Apple (Global Digital Strategy). Aidan was recognized as one of the Top 50 Technology and Digital Chiefs in Australia.

Doctoral studies and published research focus on Digital Transformation in Education for systems and enabling educators to expand their digital pedagogies with mobile learning technologies.

Aidan is passionate about achieving better educational outcomes (know the learner) and improving lives through the integration of technology, data & AI, and the empowerment of people.

Interests include family, sport, photography, travel, and the opportunity to work with the dreamers creating and deploying amazing technology for learners.
